Description: 1 1/4 to 1 3/4" wingspan. Forewing has white spots joined together in bars and an hourglass-shaped glassy spot across cell.
Habitat: Roadsides, meadows, clearings, burns, upland barrens
Range: Minnesota and Nebraska, east to New England, south to Texas and Florida
Host/Food Plant: Legumes
